The invertebrates of Hull

Although we do not have any records relating to a systematic survey of Hull's invertebrates, we thought that it would be useful to collect data on invertebrates in parallel with our initiative to re-map the City's plants. It is expected that butterflies, dragonflies and grasshoppers will dominate the list of maps available but other groups - perhaps snails - will be added as expertise permits.

The maps will appear to be sparse at first but new data will be added as the survey progresses. We hope that new records will be added to the website fairly quickly and that the maps for the common species will be a good indication of our progress.
