This is another species that seems to have colonised Hull in recent years. Crackles (1990) gives several record for the period between 1949 and 1976 but regards it as being on the "northern edge of its climatic range and not usually persisting". Is this expansion a result of the extraordinarily warm climate of the 1990s?
Herbarium material: HLU : Cottingham 1949 {R Good}. HUM : Albert Dock, Hull 1898 {H B W Smith} is this correct?
