In this survey it was only found at the edge of the Barmston Drain near Clough Road. In the recent past it has been seen on the Holderness Drain at Carlam [TA 10 36].

J F Robinson 1902: "Common in shallow dykes and particularly in those that dry up during the summer. Hall Ings, Cottingham, and other places near Hull."
