Only encountered on the Priory Road meadows. Very variable, in quantity some years when many hundreds of plants may be seen, but in others years only a few. The flowering spikes are always very small. It has been seen at Hessle chalk pits [TA 01 25 - TA 02 25] within the last ten years or so.
